note 02

Putting it away for summer

Clean, dry and folded loosely.

Moths go for wool that has been worn or used and put away unwashed, so air or wash the throw before you store it.

Fold it loosely and keep it in a breathable cotton bag or a clean drawer. Plastic traps moisture.

Cedar blocks or dried lavender in the drawer are a common old habit. Take it out and air it once or twice over the summer.
